Late Akshat Goel Scholarship 

The Late Akshat Goel Scholarship has been instituted in memory of Mr. Akshat Goel, alumnus of USLLS (Batch 2002–2007) and former Advocate-on-Record, to provide financial assistance to deserving students of USLLS on the basis of academic merit and financial need.

Scholarship Amount: ₹51,000/-

Eligibility: The scholarship is open to students entering the second year of five year law programme who have successfully cleared the examinations required for promotion and whose annual family income is below six lakhs. Students receiving any other scholarship from a Government department or organisation are not eligible.

Applicants are requested to provide complete and accurate information and submit the prescribed academic, identity and financial documents through this form. The application window will ordinarily be opened during August/September each year and will close 10 days before the last date for payment of fees as notified by GGSIPU. Application Form Click Here.

Applications will be scrutinized by a three-member Scholarship Committee, which will take the final decision regarding the award of the scholarship. Mere submission of the application does not guarantee selection.

After Selection: Selected student will be required to complete an Amount Release Form and provide their bank account and PAN details and other formalities. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account for payment of University fees. The beneficiary must thereafter submit proof of payment of the University fees to the Alumni Association at alumniuslls+scholarship@gmail.com.

The scholarship amount must be used for the stated purpose. Any diversion or misuse of the scholarship amount, or failure to submit the required proof of fee payment, may result in recovery of the amount and/or appropriate legal action in accordance with the terms of the scholarship.
